Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work stress and work environment on organizational commitment with employee job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in the study were Amaroossa Indonesia Hotel employees. With respondents of 200 respondents. This study uses accidental sampling with path analysis research methods and IBM AMOS version 22 and SPSS version 20 programs as data processing instruments. The results of the study showed that the variables of work stress and work environment had a direct influence on job satisfaction. Another result of this study is that work stress has an indirect effect on organizational commitment, through job satisfaction and the work environment has a direct influence on organizational commitment with job satisfaction as an intervening variable
